G Suite Series

Dates: September 23, October 21, November 18, and January 6, 2020.

You can register for the series or for each session individually.

Each of the four G Suite Tools sessions will be 1.5 contact hours if you attend.  The sessions will be recorded and you may choose to watch at your convenience but you will not receive credit unless you attend the live webinar.

 

#1 Maximize time and Engagement with G Suite Tools

Sept 23

1:30 – 3:00

This session is for teachers using the G Suite for education tools who want ideas and research based strategies to manage virtual learning time and keep students engaged during virtual instruction.  This session will help you power up learning using the  G Suite for Edu tools.  Learn practical strategies, get hands-on practice with the tools and walk away with templates and ideas you can put to use right away in your virtual or hybrid classes and continue to use when we get back to full time face to face instruction.

This session is for teachers using the G Suite for education tools who want practical ideas and research-based strategies to keep students engaged and ensure equity, choice, & flexibility in the remote or hybrid learning environment.   This session is modeled on the Friday Institute Instructional Design Principles for Remote Teaching & Learning with a focus on engagement, choice, equity, & flexibility.  Participants will learn strategies, get hands-on practice with the tools and walk away with templates and ideas you can put to use right away in your virtual or hybrid classes and continue to use when we get back to full time face to face instruction.

#3 Redefining Feedback and Connecting with Families Using G Suite Tools

This session is for teachers using the G Suite for education tools who want ideas and practical strategies for providing meaningful feedback that drives learning improvement instead of just judging past performance (feed forward!) using G Suite and connecting with families in the remote or hybrid learning environment.   This session is modeled on the Friday Institute Instructional Design Principles for Remote Teaching & Learning with a focus on feedback and connecting with students and families.  Participants will learn strategies, get hands-on practice with the tools and walk away with templates and ideas they can put to use right away in virtual or hybrid classes and continue to use when we get back to full time face to face instruction.

#4 Building Bridges with g Suite and G Suite Friendly Tools for Any Learning Setting
