In this make-it and take-it workshop you will create hands-on foldables that will engage students of all
abilities in literacy skills across the curriculum in a fun way. Each participant will have the opportunity
to take home numerous make-it- and-take- it options ready to use in the classroom. In this active
workshop you will learn how to use hands-on projects that will help students of all abilities learn skills
and content. This session will be led by Dr. Karen Sumner, Elementary Curriculum Coordinator at the
