Application Process
Complete the online application and upload all relevant documentation. It is fine to send electronic copies of resume and cover letter or to hand deliver these items to the school.
The administrator responsible for hiring each position will review all applicant information and contact chosen applicants to participate in a video or audio recording of candidate responses to 30 questions. The data from the interviews is shared among all administrators.
The administrator responsible for hiring each position will review all full interviews and all relevant application materials to select candidates to participate in the school level interview. The school level interviews are conducted by administrators and a team of school faculty.
Materials are submitted to Human Resources for review and approval before any job offer can be made.
As I used substitute teaching to determine which grade level I would be interested in, I quickly established positive and meaningful relationships with students and teachers. This directly impacted my decision to remain in rural western North Carolina.
