Description:

This half-day workshop is designed to reinforce and elevate the skills of mentors who work with beginning teachers. It uses the foundational mentor standards to foster supportive, effective, and impactful mentorship. During this session, mentors will revisit and deepen their understanding of the core standards essential for guiding new educators toward success.

By the end of the workshop, participants will feel empowered to foster environments where beginning teachers can thrive, ultimately enhancing their skills, confidence, and effectiveness in the classroom. This session is ideal for mentors who seek to refresh their approach and reaffirm their commitment to educational excellence. Additionally, this workshop will provide a valuable opportunity for mentors to network, share insights, and collectively strengthen their mentoring strategies based on the NC mentor standards. Angie Eudy, the Regional Education Facilitator, will be leading this workshop.
