Description:
This seminar dives into educational neuroscience, helping teachers understand how the brain develops and learns. Participants will explore how to boost student engagement through movement, mind-body activities, and neuroplasticity, while learning how emotions, technology, and cognitive skills impact memory and learning in reading, math, and beyond.
Presenter: Dr. Natalie Boone will be the instructor. She is a professor at Mars Hill University and received the 2021 University Teacher of the Year award from NCSHAPE. Boone teaches, advises students, and supervises student teachers.
