Description:

This full-day workshop is designed for middle and high school world language teachers who want to strengthen their students’ participation and proficiency in writing and speaking. Anchored in the new North Carolina World Language Standards, this session will provide practical strategies and collaborative opportunities for teachers to enhance student engagement and skill development.

We will examine examples of lessons, activities, or assessments and discuss them as a group. Through these discussions and hands-on activities, attendees will leave with actionable ideas and resources to implement immediately in their classrooms.

Presenter:

She is an experienced educator specializing in multilingual learner instructional strategies, with several years of experience as an ESL teacher and instructional coach in K-12 settings.
