Description:
Do you often say, “I don’t know how to meet the needs of my ML?” This one-day workshop will provide teachers with the tools needed to engage all students from day one! The work presented in this session is based on ten years of classroom application of the principles learned from the work of Jeff Zwiers, a senior researcher at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, and his Stanford University course, Constructive Conversation. Participants of this session can expect to gain knowledge of teaching how to have constructive conversations in any content area that lead into rich writing. Although the focus of this session is on speaking and writing, the domains of listening and reading are supported as well.
