WRESA is so excited about our third annual book talk for educational leaders to be led by Candie Sellers. We are excited this year to be traveling through “Compassionate Coaching” by Kathy Perret and Kenny McKee. “In our experience, coaching with compassion and in a way tailored to the individual can result in transformational improvements to student achievement and teacher work satisfaction.” Perret, Kathy, Kenny McKee, Compassionate Coaching, 2021. We have found through collaboration with colleagues across WNC, that the strategies shared through these book talks have assisted in a coaching shift that has made successful changes in our schools and with our students.
