Whether or not your school or district has adopted a Google Chromebook
environment, if your LEA infrastructure allows for the use of Google Tools and/or
Apps, the “Googlesphere” can be an immense help. It can aid in engaging students,
keeping in touch with parents, automating feedback and assessment, sharing
documents, and more. Hone your skills with the Google Chrome Browser using
Google Apps for Education to engage your students. Before the session, make sure
as a teacher you have access to Google Apps for Education.
This session will be a webinar to show you how to get started using Google Keep,
Google Docs, Google Drawings, Google Forms, and Google Slides. Participants
will receive ideas on how to use these resources in their classroom instruction.
This session will be recorded so participants can rewatch the demonstration. At the
end of the webinar, the presenter will give a brief introduction to using Google
Classroom. There will be future webinars that focus on Google Classroom and Advanced
Google Tools. Elizabeth Joyce from NCCAT will be the presenter. If you have
questions contact April Spencer aspencer@wresa.org or 828-774- 5681 ext. 103
