Poverty 101

In this session we will review the latest information on poverty and the vital role that teachers play. Our students living in poverty have different challenges and understanding what we can do to better assist them will be our focus. Teachers will leave with strategies that will help students thrive in their classrooms as well as the latest brain research that helps alleviate the miscommunication that surrounds communication in schools. We will discuss behaviors that impact classrooms, for children as well as adults.
