All I Want for Christmas is… the Latest Picture Books to Integrate Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum!  —  Grades K-5

Many of the newest picture books are appropriate for students of any age. This session will introduce participants to some of the newest and most engaging picture books that can be used as read-alouds to engage readers and writers in each of the subject areas. Each participant will receive a collection of five picture books, as well as strategies to help meet goals and objectives across the curriculum. Presenter will be Dr. Karen Sumner, Elementary Education/PD  Coordinator.
